Die cast haul for the weekend

So, my wife and I took the weekend as a mini-vacation to scour the local flea markets for baby stuff. We stayed in a hotel about 20 minutes from home just for the occasion.

Those of you who have kids understand completely.

Anyways, I picked up a bunch of cars. Here they are (pardon the PotatoPad quality):

Left to right - Cunningham C4R, Jaguar D-Type, Ferrari 156, Ford Mustang I Concept, Chaparral 2A, Ferrari 330 P4, Shadow Mk. IIa, Toyota MR2 Rally, Formula 1 1993, Oldsmobile Aurora GTS-1, Panoz GTR-1, Porsche 911 GT1-98, and Panoz LMP01 Evo.

I'm going to take words of advice from Jay Leno, and put some miles on these. Or more correctly, my daughter will. Gently. I hope.

I let slip a little "holy shit Ecurie Ecosse" comment and probably confused everyone near me when I saw it. The other option was a yellow Ecurie Francorchamps deal, but I loved the Scottish team more.

I have that red Ferrari in the center except in black. I also went for a haul today. They didn't have much but I got a camaro special edition, a siesta elemento, and a toyota ae86. not a bad haul if you ask me.

I held out for a red one. They had two other black ones, and despite not liking Ferrari in general, the 330 P4 in red is one of my favorite cars.

I got mine in a pack of 5 with an fox and a few other so I didn't really get a choice in color, but I think it is a damn good looking car.

Well done! I remember when those C4R's were available in stores...I kept seeing them and thinking I should buy one. That was back in the days when I was on hiatus from collecting. If I saw one now, I couldn't say no.
