It seems most have been surprised at how reliable f1 cars have been this year. I know i was!I didnt expect many to finish melbourne, and maybe even less in the heat of malaysia.

Thinking about it now though ,maybe it wasnt such a big deal after all?Cars have masses of sensors these days plus lots of adjustability, and as heat is the biggest enemy of the ERS and battery packs, anytime something looked to be getting a bit hot they could just tell the driver to switch to another software setting.

I think some teams were simply holding back. Red Bull has been a surprise given preseason tests, but nothing is set in stone yet and things can change in the next races.
