A few weeks ago !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! did a code scan on a family friend's car, a Toyota Echo. I followed up this past evening. I feel happy and somewhat victorious, but still doubt the result.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The only code that showed up was a P0550, or power steering pressure sensor circuit, instead of getting a load of emission codes along with it.

Kinja'd!!!

The owner knows nothing about cars, so I have to explain everything, and they replaced the shock absorbers on their other car due to my advice, a Hyundai Santa Fe.

how good of a family friend is this person? if not very good slap them. if very good friends, kinda remind them that fixxing one car isnt going to solve the issues on a totally separate car.

I let them know of that already, both cars are on lemon status.
