1969 Camaro. So far. I am ready to add the details and start assembling, but the paint needs to fully dry first. WHY GOD, WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG??

Oh, and here is the current interior. Swapped wheels and everything. I'll probably have to shorten the axles but need to size it with the shell first.

Hopefully when all is said and done, it'll look something like this:

how do you put the car back together again? do you glue it or is there a way to re-instal the rivets?

For now I'm just going to snap fit it, but what a lot of people do is to drill out the post a bit with a 1/16th bit, tap the hole, then put a tiny 2-56 screw in. I just haven't bought the tapping tool or the tiny screws yet!

good to know. I may try my hand at some of this car customizing. I'll have to jump on youtube and see what they have to say.

I've seen that Camaro in person several times. :3 Very, very nice car to use as inspiration.

Youtube taught me everything I know! Which isn't much, since this is my first attempt at customizing... I'm waiting for an M1 I got on ebay to come in, which will, of course, be getting a procar M colors livery.

That particular Camaro is the one that opened my eyes to muscle cars. I dismissed them more or less entirely before. But there is something about a 1st gen Camaro that is just awesome.

I don't doubt that at all! I just love the flat/shiny paint of the same color.

This car is absolutely gorgeous yet scary at the same time. I bet it has an exhaust that will summon demons

Most likely! A tuned LS7 tends to have that effect!
