The 370z i think it's a great example of standard Tomica. Really. Just look at it!

Kinja'd!!!

370z as we know is the sucsessor of the 350z. Tomica has quite a few version of 370Z, There's the standard in 4 colours, the red carbiolet, the Nismo (white with massive NISMO decal), and the japanese police. So, let's get going to the review now!

Exterior and Detail: 8/10

Kinja'd!!!

There's nothing to complaint here, all look nice and properly painted. The badge is a bit oversized in my opinion, and the Tomica's standard "button wheels" is just don't seem right with the 370z. But the rest is brilliant. I suggest you has to replace the wheels tough.

Fit and Finish: 5/10

Kinja'd!!!

Well, The fit and finish on this thing is similar to the hotwheels or matchbox, if only a little bit better. But i think they can do something with rearview window, which is missing.

Features: 7/10

Kinja'd!!!

Every tomica has a distinctive feature. And on this one, you can open the roof. But you can't open the door. On the fixed-roof 370z, you can't open the roof, but you can open the door. But be careful, you might lose it, because there's no place to store it, just like the old Mercedes SL. But i like it!

Value: 6/10

Kinja'd!!!

For about 3-4 dollars, i think 6 is quite fair. You can go to something more detailed like Limited line, but that's expensive.

Rarity: 7/10

The standard car like this one, i think it's quite fair to put a 7 on it, because Nissan sells quite a lot of Z cars, but this thing is starting quite hard to get. Plus there's a lot (i mean really, a LOT) of variation of it, like this blue one:

Kinja'd!!!

or this one in brown:

Kinja'd!!!

And that's not including the standard car:

Kinja'd!!!

So yeah, get it while it last!

Veridict

Kinja'd!!!

Should you get it?

That's depends on you. But if you willing to replace the wheel (or keep the button wheels), this thing is brilliant. I Think it's one of the finest 1/64 model of 370Z that you can get for less than 5 bucks.

Score: 33/50

Note: this new scoring system i think it's better than the old one. So i'll keep it.

Yeah, the wheels on the brown one would suit it better. I've got a Suzuki Pop up camper from Tomica where the roof pops up. It's pretty cool.

yeah, because the brown was the Limited line, which has better tires, suspension, and better wheels

I remember my first tomica, the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter truck where you can open the rear door, it's brilliant!

This wasn't exactly what you had in mind? Was it.

I'm not sure which Tomica was my first. It might have been that red Merak.

I have a 77 Tomica dump truck. The quality is way better than any hot wheels. To bad they haven't kept the same quality as time progressed.

Well, when japan's economic bubble burst, the quality is also gone.

So does the cars. They use to build everything, from absurd JDM Minivan to Ferrari 400i, from VW Beetle to Porsche 356 to Mercedes 450SEL, and many things.

I got a 2002 NSX (paint's kinda dented) and a 2012 FR-S.

I love how each one has suspension.
