How didn't I know about this? Lexus IS250. It really doesn't translate well onto photos, but believe me, I was staring at one of these in a parking lot. It's one of the few new cars that make me do a double take. Have you guys seen this, and what did you think.

It sure makes you take a second look. I saw one going down the highway, they look mean and not your average lexus. I really dig it

...where have you been??? This car was the topic of furious rage and debate on Jalopnik for months. I do agree, it looks weird in pictures but in person it's got a very unique and aggressive look. Great car in IS350 guise (just like the old model the 250 is a too anemic)
ps- nice screen name (from a fellow BMW and Subaru owner)

The car is pretty great, but this here needs to GO.

I don't mind them. The predator face, and those rear taillights aren't my favorites though.

I saw one broken down on the side of I-275.
I do not like them, they will age quickly as they are very over designed, with too many intersecting lines and creases.

False. The grille needs to go. This line will be legendary. Also, imagine the Midnight Club: Los Angeles possibilities!

That line and the dumb tail-light bleeding into it will be forgotten. It's exaggerated and gross, and uglifies the whole rear quarter. It's almost as dumb as that checkmark headlight thing the 370z is doing. Ugly, but quirky designs need to be limited to japans boxy economy cars. They don't belong in the luxury bracket.

Great ass but the rest of the car isn't selling it at all.

The line's great to me. I like the flow of it, nothing else does that.
And yes, quirky designs do belong in the luxury market. That's where designers and engineers can experiment.
