You can get it in a 4 door long box and 4 door short box.
I'm still buying one when the diesel comes out.

Just like the Tacoma, though a long box 4 door would be a long truck.

Pretty much a full sized pickup at that point.

Small truck that will be real long!

well...no, not that long, but still long. It's smaller in the following ways than an average sampling of 4 2015 full size trucks with quad cab medium bed (or short if only 2 are offered):
9.4 inches shorter
5.4 inches narrower
5 inches lower
1000 lbs lighter
and 5.5 mpg better (3.6L compared to 5.3-5.7 liter class engines)
I ran these numbers for this article based on the best known information on the Colorado at the time.

This is pretty much the best option for this truck. Would still be narrower than a full size. A long box in this would still only be 6'

yup, if you needed the bed length, this would be a killer truck. My buddy has the 4 door short bed taco and i think its got enough bed length, but even he wishes he sometimes got the long bed for bigger loads...though it wouldn't be as good off road.

My father's 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 is a quad-cab long-box. That's four doors and an eight foot bed.
This is sausage to me.

The guy my cousin started a business with did up a Mega Cab with a longbox, you couldn't get it from Dodge like that. Longest truck possibly ever.

That's absurd. At least the '03 could still fit in the garage. What you describe would be hanging out by about half a foot.
