I really don't feel like doing it. I just want to mount my tires and go home. 5 can't come soon enough.

Can't you just flip them white lettering facing inwards?

I wish they all came like that but unfortunately it's not my call to make. When we put rims on Rams we do flip the letters to the inside though.

Well, a sold vehicle. But it's for tomorrow morning rather than this afternoon, so I'm not exactly in a rush to do it, hence I don't want to. A prolonged case of the Mondays.

Oh, Haha. The Mondays are only treatable with Saturdays, I'm afraid to say.

That's because Joe Schmo's tires definitely isn't taking the time to clean them up. The blue does come off eventually on its own.

I used to have to do that. White walls are worse. We used barbecue brushes. Sprayed the cleaner on and scrubbed the shit out of them.

Yep, that's exactly what I use. If it were my truck it'd be worth the effort to keep them clean, but I hate doing them on deliveries.

We did crazy critical detailing. I remember being on a ladder buffing scratches on the roof of a conversion van. Electric random orbit buffer and all. Cut, glaze and wax...
I once cleaned a cutlass sierra whitw with beige interior. Cigar smoker killed it. Took a week to get it clean. Looked brand new when we were done. Chev olds Cadillac dealer so we had impala SS's, corvettes and caddys. They treated Cavalier s like gold.

Wait, so people leave the dealer stickers on to show the car is new, but they dont want people to know they have new tyres?

People leave the stickers on? I've never seen that in 4 years of working at a dealership.

Oh I've made a good number of disgusting vehicles habitable for normal humans again. It's amazing how bad people will let their cars get.

To me that would look more like you're test driving a car rather than just having bought one.

I haven't vacuumed mine or wiped down the interior since the beginning of winter. I could have it really clean and nice in about an hour and that's what I consider dirty. I have been Freaking out about how dirty it is. If we loose some cold and snow this week I will clean it up. But Most of the cars (including my fathers) look like someone used it for a garbage bag and shook it...

One perk of working at a shop is not having to wait for warm weather to clean my car. That said, my interior definitely needs a good cleaning.

Yes, I miss that. or having access to a large garage to clean it. My garage is full of junk (or as the wife calls it, important things we may need one day). Even if it wasn't I would still be outside for the washing part.
