It's just an incredibly tidy, well-proportioned car. I wouldn't mind my Milano having a few more of these design cues in it. Plus, although the base FWD is a disappointment, Alfa had great success racing the Quadrofoglios with their Permanent 4 AWD. It even came in awesome sportwagon form!

What an excellent idea for a winter car, suitably rust-proofed of course.

Even the FWD ones were pretty nifty. Development on the Alfasud, which is one of the all-time FWD greats.

It's much more attractive than the 75.

They're my two favorite FWD Alfas by a longshot. I'd love to own both, but neither is practical to own here given the complete lack of parts and knowledge on them here.

True. Even here in the UK you'd have to import parts from Italy most likely.

Saying that, I haven't actually looked. There might be a company specialising in 'sud parts.

I adore the Alfa 33. It's a 'sud in a sharper suit. It's so clean, crisp, and elegant, regardless of body style. The sonorous little flat-4, the nippy Alfa FWD handling, and taut lines all make me weak in the knees. In photos, of course. I've never seen one in real life.

I hate to admit it as the owner of a Milano, but it really is.

Cheap cars that are best owned by rich men, methinks.

It's just a much cleaner design. I wouldn't kick either out of my garage though.

My dad owned one in the early 90's. Sold it for a new Opel Astra in '97 because it was a piece of shit when it came to reliability.
One spring day in '92, my parents were driving from Belgrade to Budapest in the 33. On the way it started raining. The car's electronics started acting up! they pulled over, turned the car off went for coffee, came back, and it was fine. Few minutes later it started acting up again! After about 20 miles, my dad realized that A FEW DROPS OF WATER were making all the electronics in the car short out, and switch off
