And the result looks really good. I love the clean lines on the front, but somehow they managed to put side skirts on the car that don't fit the entire look by being to bulky and massive. Also, the rims could have been a bit more subtle, I am thinking of Ruf 5-spokes. Otherwise, the car is spot on.
This is their second Cayman based car, as they designed the Ruf RK Coupe some years ago:

The GTS... interesting. Not a fan of the front end, I would still take the Torino, but the rear looks really good.

I'm not saying I hate the rear of the car, in many ways I like it, but just what have they got against being able to see out the back?

What performance or internal mods do they make with it? If they don't actually improve it besides cosmetic changes then I'll just take a GTS. It looks better IMO, plus I'd rather have factory backing if theres no big advantages to the studiotorino

I think the stock still looks better, but that blue one is nice.
I'm smitten by the Cayman. I may seek one out someday when the price comes down more.

It is optical only, and the price is extraordinary high: 150k Euros. But you can have pretty much every modification done to the car you want, they will still convert the body. If I would have ridiculous amounts of money I would totally have a GTS converted.

If you buy a Cayman for the price of a 911 Turbo, you won't care much I guess.

This is fucking stupid. If I didn't want to see out of my car I'd just get a Camaro.

The front bumper on the Torino is about the only I don't hate on that car, lol.

It is a bit of an homage to the 904 Carrera GTS styling...
I liked it on the 987-based RK coupe, but I don't think it is an improvement on the 981 styling. Stock 981, base, S, or GTS is better looking than the Studiotorino and the 987 previous generation.
Stock, it is just such a pure form, and a beautiful mid-engined, flat-6 powered RWD 2-seat, 2-door sports car.
Not much else perfectly wraps up pretty much everything I want in an enthusiast-spec car.
