1993 Ford Escort GT with only 14k miles. Never driven and just serviced.
Am I the only one who is having difficulty deciphering this statement?

I'm not sure how that makes me feel. On one hand, someone saved it. On the other, why?

I'm thinking "just" is being used as "recently" as opposed to "only".
I.E. Never driven and recently serviced. Probably had everything gone through prior to sale.

I always liked those cars but never owned that configuration. But personally I think I'd hold out for a manual—that's part of the fun.

It really bothers me that the Ford emblem isn't centered.

Yeah, I'd take a manual with 10 times the mileage, over this with the auto.

My guess would be it was a teaching car. So constantly torn down and rebuilt by students and all the miles are test driving the fixes and just generally moving it around.

I got driven to a rally stage in the infamous teal sister color with matching wheels (and Hellas) by an insane course worker couple. Bracing both b-pillars with my hands in the back seat they were booking it in a kindof pre-runner shakedown until they let me out amongst pitch black woods with a clipboard and flashlight.

I'm sure that odo's rolled over. It just looks clean... except the front seats.
But for an auto? LOL.

It understood the "just serviced" as meaning "recently", but I still can't fathom how it could rack up 14,000 miles without having ever been driven.
