Thanks! I'm not doing much besides doing overlays of color and adding noise to make them look like vintage footage.
I guess it does some talent to not make them look too tacky; I've trashed a few where I went a little over the top. It is tough to take just the right photo at just the right angle though.

Looks terrific! With vintage cars some grain as an overlay would look fabulous IMHO, and I quite like to filter my images into a two-strip Technicolor-esque pictures for my blog posts, but I'm only using IrfanView (it is quite surprising how much you can do with such simple editors with a bit of creativity).
