So awhile back I went to buy some SUPPOSEDLY 5x100 unknown offset but 18x8.5 wheels for my Forester. Said they were clean no curb rash and I get there two wheels are wrecked, like gnarly rash, and the bolt pattern is 5x114.3, they came off a Mazda 3 Hatch so it's pretty obvious they were 5x114.3 and a test fit confirmed that.

So now this guy is trying to sell these wheels on a Facebook group/craigslist and still lists them as 5x100 and after I commented on how they are 5x114.3 and in fact NOT 5x100 he says "actually you're wrong but thanks for going out of your way to try and prove me wrong"...

DUUUUDE... 5x3.94 is like pretty much like the same as 5x4 dude.. and like 5x4.5 is like pretty much the same as 5x4 dude...

Cut the kid some slack ;)

Buyer beware. Sad, but that's the truth. At least you planted suspicion in potential buyers mind. Ask him to hold up a measuring tape to it

I measured it for him in his garage as well as my lug pattern and his lug pattern. Here's exactly how he concluded why they didn't fit.

My Forester had a lug pattern of 5x114.3
His Mazada was 5x100
His wheels were 5x100

After I measure the lug pattern on his car, my car, and his wheels he was still convinced they were 5x100...
