Today my loveable little shitbox got a new Euro grille, some front sway bar links, spark plugs that are actually designed for the car, and the SVT rims and summer tires put on after a long winter! Look at how pretty it is now! LOOK AT IT!!!

I also had to drop by a stealership for the plugs since the ones I specialty-ordered were improperly gapped and required a $50 tool for iridium sets (thanks Denso, you'll be getting them back pretty soon). After $82 for a set of four (highway robbery, man) I stopped by their showroom for some quick pics of a Model A of unknown vintage:

Even at 2:30 in the afternoon, the salespeople were more content to count the pencils in the cup on top of their desk than talk cars with a hippie-looking 20something who clearly couldn't afford anything in the showroom besides a Snickers out of the customer lounge's vending machine, so that's about all I got before I was asked to leave without really being asked to leave ("Can I help you? No? Then thanks for stopping by today, come back if you need anything else!"). Rude. I understand why Elon Goldfinger wants to abolish these kinds of places.

Just checked google images. Today I learned the slight difference between the NA and Euro grille.

Apart from the grille and front bumper there's really not much else, is there. The Focus was designed as a European car, so people on the forums have made all kinds of Euro mods to their cars, from the grille like I did to full Focus RS conversions.

Jeez man, where do you live? I'm in Indiana and it's projected to be in the mid 40s and up from here on out. You're right, though, it's probably a bit too early for summer tires, but I probably won't be back in town for a few months and I don't have anywhere to store wheels up at my college apartment. Last year I kept my winters on until mid-April for that reason and they got torn up by the temperatures and campus streets, so I don't want to do that again either.
