I see an Estoril Blue 1995 E36 M3 for sale near me. It has 238k miles on it and is supposedly a one owner car with tons of service records. It has a new stage 2 clutch and flywheel. I'd be lying if I said the car didn't look clean.

It's basically my ideal E36 M3, with an extra 150k miles on it. Firstly, I'd like to make sure it is in fact a one owner car, and I'd also like to make sure it's not a salvage titled car.

The vin is: WBSBF9321SEH02290

Thanks guys.

Check the rear shock attachments.

That's nearly 6 Grand! Myself, I would pass just out of running and maintenance costs.

If it hasn't had at least one rebuild, walk away, it's coming soon.

Those engines are bullet proof...but 238K is a lot of miles. Just remember that engine block will probably be shot very soon, Transmission and diff and just about everything else will probably be stressed. I don't think that is a car you go deal shopping on.

It wouldn't be a DD, have my E90 for that.

Part of me is thinking walk away and find something better and the other part of me is saying see how low I can get the car for and how much it would cost to to some sort of swap (LS, S62)

There's another Estoril Blue with your desired mileage for $13k and a 193k one for $6.5. Estoril tax in effect.

I'd even be fine with the much less (although still very liked) popular choice of Avus blue.

I'd rather not spend over $10k on an E36, if I were spending more than that on a weekend/not everyday car I'd go all out and buy an E39 M5 to supercharge.

Keep the e90, it's probably just as fast or faster, regardless of if its a NA or turbo 3.0. This had 160K miles on it before the conversion and he's just put 2k on it since and now wants to sell? That spells sketchy to me.

Also, note this wagon doesn't even have the sport seats.

I'm a little confused, it's an E36 M3 (not a wagon) and I don't know anything about a conversion. It also has 238k.

I'm keeping the E90 regardless, it's been a great DD and I plan on running it to at least 120k.

My bad. I was confusing this with the npocp bmw 5 series wagon...
