Hmm... There should be a sort of PBNC switch thing where the trailer attaches to the vehicle. If the switch is opened, it triggers an e-brake. Problem solved.

If only I knew how to go about doing that, I seriously would. :P Whether anyone would use it, I have no idea, but it's definitely an easy way to prevent runaway trailers.

All the trailers I've ever used in the Army uses that, HOWEVER, you have to make sure to hook the line from the trailer up to the truck in order to do so, so gotta fix the human factor
