A guy that I work with has THIS CAR as his "company car." No kidding. I tried driving it once. It's down right scary. Acceleration goes from nothing to WOT in about 1/3 of the pedal travel. The brakes feel like they installed my dog's rawhide chews in place of the pads. The steering wanders like a 1980's lifted jeep.

Oh I know all about how slow Ford Tempo's are. I drove the white one (I put up a pic last night) across 2/3rds of Canada. It was nearly 4000 miles. Great trip.
Honestly, I got this car as a teenager, and for a teenager it's a good first car. Can't street race that thing.
