Saw an SL/AWD this morning on the way to work and thought it was pretty neat.

Ugh, had to turn Tiger on to comment...
Anywho, I've never seen one of the Nismo variety. All it needs now is that all-important "R" affixed to the name and all the hardware that comes with it!

I've never seen a Nismo either, really interesting cars is what they are. If you ever see an R in your life, be sure to steal it. They're like, ultra rare.

I'll just have to go to the Great Falls Cars & Coffee more often. Tons of stuff to stea—I mean look at—over there. Maybe a Juke-R will show up, who knows? We did get an XL1 late last year...

I saw a black SL on the drive home, following this encounter.

Is that in front of the pond by Innovation and Enterprise?

It's the faculty parking right in front of the Performing Arts Center, the area right before the bridge crossing. There are usually some interesting cars in this row, including a Cadillac CTS Wagon (not -V though), a Range Rover Evoque, BMW Z4 sDrive 35i, and a Mercedes-Benz C63. There's even been a Herbie New Beetle.
