New shift knob installed yesterday! Glorious, weighted shifting is now mine. Now I just need some gloves, because the knob is as icy cold as it is cool.
Any recommendations on good leather or stringback driving gloves for cheapish?

that is one attractive shift knob. I got a pair this year from Nordstroms. Cashmere lined leather. The leather is nice, quality is good, and, well, cashmere on the hands doesnt suck. Better than cold metal

Thanks!
Also, I'll have to check there. I found a pair at Autodromo I liked, but I don't have $125+ to spend on gloves. Hah.

Same center console as my JSW, but the contrast stitching on your seats says GTI to me.

Well done. 2013 GTI Wolfsburg edition.

Will it also be finger burning hot in the summer?

I got a pair of leather driving gloves for around $30 on Amazon. However, I still prefer to use my Mechanix gloves for driving because they fit better. The Mechanix can be found at your local autoparts store for around $20.

I have so many pairs of Mechanix, haha. I just love the look of nice leather gloves, though; I haven't decided where to purchase yet, but as spring is nearly here I'm not exactly in a rush anyway. A few more days of cold shift knobs won't hurt me.
