Found this on craigslist. I didn't realize Peugeots were in the states in the late 80s.

i know of a Peugeot like that near my place, it's surprisingly in good shape.

My mum had one of those. An excellent example of a RWD car that's very little fun at all to drive, despite being RWD.

Yes, but from what I remember they were awful. There was a joint SAAB/Peugeot dealer right by our supermarket growing up.

Peugeots were in the US thru the 1991 model year. I had an '81 504 Diesel Wagon...weird as hell, comfy as hell, big as hell, slow as hell. I miss it to this day....

RWD isn't really a plus when it comes to Peugeot. They've always been a lot better - indeed, for a while there, some might have said the best - with FWD, and are responsible for some of the best hot hatches ever made.
