So, the latest Blipshift shirt was clearly a take on a comment I made on OPPO that ended up being part of the COTD and on the Jalopnik front page. On a lark, I wrote them a note on their Facebook page to see if I could get a free shirt out of it, and they did me quite a bit better! Very impressed with their friendly, good will gesture on this - they'll be getting more orders from me in the future (and probably more ideas and designs, too).
Hey David, By all means we try to give credit where credit is due. We actually received several idea and design submissions regarding this current design after jalop released the article. This one just happens to be the idea around the gated shifter we liked the best! That said, if you can link us to your contribution to the making of this design submission (hey, maybe something you said/did inspired someone else to submit the idea to us) than we're more than happy to hook you up with some swag! Let us know,

Thanks for the response - I agree, it is a great design, and it was cool to see my idea inspire a Blipshift shirt. My comment "Should these collectively be known, on Jalopnik, as the Gates of Heaven?" led to the COTD post on Jalopnik: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! If that's worth a free shirt in your eyes, I'll take an XL. Thanks again!
