Going to take advantage of the nicer weather this weekend and start dis-assembling the '64 so I can get started on the rust repairs. The goal is to get the outer sheetmetal off the nose, and possibly get the doors off.

Anyone local to RI & crazy enough to want to come help is welcome. If you've got another mig welder and want to help with the fabrication that would be awesome.

Is this the CL special or the old truck?

This is the old one, sold the red CL special a few weeks ago(which is how I have money to work on this one).

Did you at least get a good price for that one? It seemed pretty solid. I'm still sorta truck hunting, but not really.

Got $4500, on a ~$700 total investment.

Never did get the paperwork for it, and it turned out the engine was really tired, so it was going to take more than expected to get it reliably running & driving.

Good looking C10. You have to promise not to be THAT guy. You know the guy that takes a classic all apart then never touches it again.

Not likely to be a problem, I don't have the patience or space for it to be spread all over the garage for years. The only reason I am ripping it apart as much as I am is because *everything* has rot so I can't just fix some of it without bolting the fixed parts to rotted parts.
