Well, if you missed it, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Today, we'll go through the previously owned cars.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Once again...let's start with the random statistics:

Average age: 21 years

Average mileage: 276,000

Oldest Car: RamblinRover S. McFisticuff with an awesome 1981 VW Rabbit Pick-up

Top Manufacturers: Volvo (7), Honda (4), and a 4-way tie for third with Ford, Dodge, Mercedes, and Ponticac (2).

Top Models: Accord & Caravan at 2 a piece. (Who says Chrysler transmissions are terrible? Well, you did because you told me how many transmissions it took to get your minivans to that mileage.)

Well, you successfully embarrassed me. I thought I was a high-mileage champ with my 200k cars, but I didn't even take the top ten for previous cars and just barely got 9th for current cars. However, I it looks like I'm doing something right as 3/4 of my driveway is filled up with 2 Honda Accords and a Volvo 945 turbo.

This time around 15 of you had cars over 300k, which is an impressive 42% of the list. The Japanese barely squeak by as the leader with 11 cars followed by America (10), Sweden (8), Germany (6), and Italy with one lone Alfa Romeo.

And the winner is...(drumroll, please)...

505Turbeaux with a 631,000 mile 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300TD! Congrats!

That's right ladies and gentlemen, the winner for both current cars and previous cars is a 1980s diesel Mercedes. I think I'm seeing a trend here. Since it's the same car as yesterday's winner, I can use the same random picture I pulled off the internet!

Thanks for playing! By the way, I have the spreadsheet if there is an desire to upload with the rest of the Oppo Tools.

Lulz. My 1949 only has 8,000 miles on it.

The problem with having unending lust for cars is sometimes you are so blind to mileage that you just focus on the condition of the car and the book of service records. Oh and here is a pic of the winning girl. Wish I still had it. Back in the potatocam days

Who knew an Alfa could go that far?

Searching for a pic of my old girl (Ixchel, Myan Goddess of the moon), I even dug up my old myspace account(!) and managed to find a few that are already digitalized ;) These are from when she had only about 300K miles...

Second most reliable car I have ever owned. I bought it used with 98K miles on it and drove the pants off of it. It had some quirks, and I changed my timing belt like religion every 30K miles, but damned if the girl ever let me down. She was great in the snow too.

Although the body panels were fully galvanized on the 164, sadly the rear sub-frame was not :/

Yep! I fall into the same trap all the time, but they are just so much more fun to own than new cars. Congrats on being high-mileage champ!

Surely some of it came from pushing. :)

Wow, that is impressive. If I sneeze while driving my car's odometer jumps that much.

Very good looking car. I have yet to own an Alfa so I guess I am not a true 'petrol head' according to Top Gear.
