I am enjoying the #banbossy movement on twitter too much. (Led by Sheryl Sandberg).
While I think banning random words won't lead to women's empowerment, the whole thing is rather hilarious when your name is thebigbossyboss.
I keep asking what I did to get banned.

LOL, poor #bigbossyboss! This sums up my feelings on the matter:
Just because nobody is calling little girls (or women) bossy doesn't mean that the set of behaviors associated with that word become instantly valued in them.

Honestly, I had my reservations at first, but Oppo is practically a feminist haven compared to most aspects of my life as a rather socially liberal woman motorcyclist/Jeep owner/muscle car enthusiast/automotive engineer/weightlifter/MMA fighter living in Michigan. Most everyone on Oppo is chill, though I see enough microaggressions in my day to day that it sometimes becomes very difficult to stay zen. Just don't even get me started on this state turning into the Northern Mississippi!
