Satellite imagery found what could be wreckage a day after the plane's disappearance. Why has it taken until today to be revealed!?!?!?!?!?

Supposedly the three pieces are rather huge, with the largest being almost 70 by 70 feet!

Hmm, I hope they ground the 777 if it turns out to be a problem.

Bad ending, I guess. It's a shame.

It takes a long time to scour through satellite images. We can monitor changes on land very well because there is lots of historical data, but in the water we don't pay much attention. Satellite images are basically huge, huge, pictures that take time to download, process and project. A few days is actually a quick turn around.

Hope that is it. Sad, but we need to know.

Is there anything on a 777 that's 70 x 70? Not really...so color me skeptical.
