Honestly when I saw an A5 sport back I thought it was an a4. They look 95% the same...

They are ... shhhh! All kidding aside they can stop bringing the A4 now that the A3 sedan is here and just bring this instead.

I guess but when I saw it around town for the first month I just thought it was a rebaged audi a4. I don't understand the point of the smaller 4 door coupes, the proportions just make them look like they're sedan counterparts. While the cls, 6 gran coupe, and a7 should be considered art. Cla is the only one that really looks different.

The front end does look just like an A4.
The back end is more A7-ish. But the front is too similar to the A4
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

i'm alittle bummed that the A3 is a sedan now. I thought it's whole purpose was to be audi's hatchback.

I agree, this is one of my favorite cars, probably for no good reason.
I would die for an S5 Sportback in the States

The A5 Sportback and 4-series gran coupe are both worth having around if only because they improve upon their sedan counterparts by being hatchbacks.

I can tell the difference from an a6 and a8 easily. This and an a4 irl it's next to impossible. They look the same unless you take a look at the c pillar.

It was, but nobody in the US bought them, so now we get an A3 sedan.

I'm all for a hatchback but if it's all about practicality you have the 3 gt or wagon. I mean the seats already fold down, its just an excuse to say you payed more by having a higher number (a5,4 series)....

It's just too meh!
Everything is too similar. The "same sausage different lengths" is being taken too far.
Even the pre-2000s Bimmers that followed that design philosophy has more differences between the models than the current Audis do.

For fair-weather locations (since there won't be a 435i GC xDrive) I actually really like the 4 GC as a great all-round practical and sporty car. It's going to weigh several hundred lbs less than the 335i GT which has standard xDrive, higher ride height, longer wheelbase, and taller roof.
I have a 135is and old Grand Cherokee for winter and general hauling of crap. If I had to choose one car to cover everything, and there were a 435i GC xDrive, that would be my choice.
So that means my next best option would be the 335i GT, but not sure I'd bite on it. I like having a bigger heavier car in winter but with all that extra size and weight it's more of a cruiser than I'd want for the rest of the year.

That's a nice 4-door accord coupe.

What's wrong with a f30 335 for a practical sporty car? The 4 isn't as practical as the 3 with fold down seats, due to it having less rear head room. I mean it's not like your going to carry a fridge in either car, both will fit a good sized tv but when you have 4 adults in the car I'm sure they'll appreciate the extra headroom. If you want a coupe for the looks, get a coupe. If you want a sedan for the practicality get a sedan. Don't lie to oppo by saying it's a practical coupe, save it for your wife ;). Now the 6 series gran coupe is a work of art and shouldn't be messed with.

Nothing's wrong with the 335, I just like hatchbacks.

I'd take an A7 though. Especially if it comes with massage seats.

They should have done something like this instead of that horrendous Crosstour monster!
