So I had to pay for my own background check, get a haircut, and shave my beard, and I get to the training class where they told me that the job I was offered was canceled and that I could take a position in Gaffney, third shift, for the same money and fewer hours. I politely told the Ops Manager that it wasn't worth it and I came home. An hour drive late at night, only two nights a week, for what they were offering, was not worth it.

FFS! My wife wouldn't even kiss me last night becauae she said I looked weird.

She also said she wasn't going to believe a word I said until I grew the beard back. So I get her making fun of me for two weeks until it's at a sufficiently fuzzy stage.

Nope. Independent security contractor that did site security for a bunch of different industrial plants. Basically the guys who ride around in Rangers, Avengers or Escapes and check the lots, or sit in the booth at the gate.
