So today, my 2000 Ford Expedition with around 250,000 miles joined the wonky start up procedure crew. Starter went out, and from what I can discern, the rod inside the starter that pushes the starter gear forward to engage with the flywheel is sticky, so in order to get the truck to start, I occasionally need to get a hammer out, give the starter a few good knocks, then crank her over.
Spring break is in a couple weeks and while I was hoping to get some body work done on the 74, now I have to spend time replacing a faulty starter. Oh joy.

Gah I know I hate those rims. My brother, back when he was in high school (that was about 7 years ago too) picked them out. So those have been on the truck wayyy longer than bro's have been slapping them on jacked up garbage.

Yes the hipster of bro trucks. And yeesh. Theres a newer Camaro on campus that has them. It amazes me that people are now putting them on cars. Barf.

On the bright side, starters are easy and straight forward to replace.
