Yeah I miss Mt. Palomar, haven't been up there in ages. If there's enough SD Oppo's on here we should all make a trip of it.

I go up there about once a year. I like going alone, though, because (a) I'm generally antisocial and (b) I don't trust myself not to drive like an idiot if there's a faster car/driver either ahead of me or behind me.
My uncle once spun off Banner Grade trying to keep up with other cars, and I was a passenger on a Miata club run that was irresponsible at best - despite being a bunch of grown-ups driving in a supposedly casual group. I'd rather do my own thing at my own speed, you know?
How was Drew Ford to deal with, by the way? Is an ST just a matter of getting the right options and paying MSRP, or are they making deals?

Drew Ford was pretty good, no high-pressure crap or anything like that. As long as you go in knowing exactly what you want, you're fine. I told them I wanted a base ST, no Recaros, nav, etc. They had one black base unit on the lot, so I got it. They gave me employee pricing, before all the taxes, fees, etc. I brought in another deal with North County Ford and they bettered it. I'd recommend them if you're looking for a new ST, haha. Fun car.

needed to some how integrate with stock badging. I'm thinking "oppo fiesta" to indicate what a party we have here, or "SToppo" to indicate... that that is like a word you can sorta make with ST and oppo...

Thanks, I originally wanted blue but the dealer said it would take a month or so to custom order it. Apparently there were no blue ST's in CA with the base options.

One last tip for you: There's a cars & coffee this Saturday at Symbolic's service center in Sorrento Valley from 9 to noon. I'm hoping it will become a regular event (or maybe it is and I just haven't heard about it).
