I'll be keeping the E90, so this boat will have everything DIY'd. If I still have enough money to afford internet, I'll be sure to do some awesome write ups.

Heated front AND rear seats....... I'll run all 4 just because I can. Now THAT is luxury.

The E38 is really cool and good-looking, especially the 740i sport, but they're among the worst cars ever made, and on top of that, the 740i sport's gas mileage is actually worse than the V12 because of different gearing :(

Yeah, I know I'll be getting myself into a lot if I buy this.. But i already have a reliable inline 6 DD that gets pretty good fuel economy.

I know the gas mileage isn't great, but is it really THAT bad?

The 2001 M sport is the one to have. Best 7 series in my opinion.

The V8 is probably a better choice than the V12, given that both have sufficient power for anything you would want to do, and the V8 get somewhat better mileage and has less maintenance requirements.

One of my favorite body styles. The m-sport makes it look much younger than it really is. I plan on getting a PPI anyways so hopefully everything checks out.

Imagine if there was a 7 series meet, and a metric shitload of E38 M-sports were there, and then a forest fire destroyed them all (because it would obviously be at a high class log cabin with opulence) and then the E38 appreciated and became more valuable than E30's..... I can dream right?

Trust me, 7 series owners know opulence. This morning at C&C this old guy had this awesome imola red E38 (first and only I've ever seen) M-sport and he had driving gloves that color matched the interior perfectly. I also heard a rumor that he changes the BMWCCA sticker every other week so that the blue on it doesn't fade, and matches all other BMW badges perfectly. (not even sure if it's true, but that sounds awesome)
