I wonder if people that do this have any concept of how air bags work. I get that you love your pet but you are putting both of you as serious risk. Same goes for people who don't make their kids buckle up.

I saw a car, that the airbags deployed on. It was the driver and passenger. The owner just put duct tape over them.

I think he means the ruptured air bags were repaired with duct tape.

My step-dad used to let his Cocker Spaniel ride in his lap all the time. But his '92 Astro didn't have airbags.

But it did have large windows.

Just the other day, saw a young woman in a an econobox nearly get rear ended. She slammed on the brakes for apparently no reason. Turns out there was a young border collie in her lap/codriver seat/on the steering wheel/around the shifter. Crazy bitches, both of them.
