I can't see where this could go wrong. No straps, most of the weight on a crumpled tail gate (and behind the rear wheels), resting on the bed side. That's a quality loading job.

I see a rope...on the left. As long as he drives carefully...gravity,friction & inertia will keep things pretty much where they are. Not that I would be driving behind him on a freeway though...probably not going far...

Probably carbon fiber kevlar composite with a high tech woven construction...or maybe its just a piece of woven nylon strap.

Ha! I didn't even catch that it was in a handicap space. Since there's no placard hanging from the mirror, I'm guessing just lazy.
