So I'm on my way home from the garage after having the Forester's timing belt changed. To sooth my sore wallet I stop at the grocery to pick up some Maker's and I spot this. Don't think I would have it out yet but she sure was pretty. I believe it's a '71, new top, looks like new paint, interior as, nice as the exterior, undoubtedly a b-block/727 combo.

Spring's right around the corner.

I have a friend with a Sport Fury. The earlier 60's models looked better to me, but that one is entering the Land Yacht era. Nothing wrong with that!

I grew up in the era before the oil embargo and the government mandating MPG. But it still amazes me at how large those cars were in that era.

I was selling cars at age 19 and traded for a 68 sport with a 318 and a 3spd. The used car manager put 500 in it and I put 5 100 dollar bills in his hand and took it. If only I hadn't traded for a F-150
