I'm posting photos to my photography page car-by-car, so it's going to take a couple more weeks to get through them. In the meantime, I've been posting a weekly roundup on here of the photos I've put on there. My page is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! if you're interested.

Great shots overall, but this lead shot seems like the horizon is a tiny bit off level. Great shots that I've seen from what you've been posting!

I think you're right. Put it back in Photoshop and the grille seems to be 0.5 degrees tilted clockwise. The weird thing though is that I checked it and the mirror tips were actually level with each other, as were the badge and the Elmiraj license plate thing. Figured it was a perspective illusion with that big white tilted thing in the background. Ah well, I'll fix it sometime.

If you use DxO, you could look into the Force Parallel options. Its primary use is for correcting the perspective if you can't get in the right spot to get the composure right. I suspect that the shot may have been taken ever so slightly off dead center which would cause this phenomena :)

In my defense, that thing was rotating pretty quickly. This was probably as close as I could get without waiting through 200 rotations. :P
Never heard of DxO before now.

DxO Optics Pro. Get it. The "PRIME" noise reduction takes forever to export but it can salvage images that otherwise would be considered too noisy! Plus they have corrective modules for each camera body/lens combo. They correct for distortion, vignetting, and sharpness, if I remember correctly. They might even correct for chromatic aberrations....
And you don't have to tell me, those stupid cars spin WAYYYYY too fast. Then you see a shot that you want and you have to wait what feels like another 15 minutes for the car to come back around, then it's suddenly going 50mph again.. Really frustrating!

That's $300 (for the Elite version I need with my 5D) that I don't really have right now. Sounds like some pretty nice software though. Maybe someday. For now I just can't justify it when Photoshop CS6 and LightRoom (which I really need to actually utilize...) suit most of my needs already.

I need the elite version for the 6D and 1DIIN.. I'm not saying that you should pirate it............ Maybe you should decide after a bottle of rum?
