Having hit a telephone pole in a 72 Camaro with the little chrome bumperettes I have to say they look 10,000 times better but they aren't worth a damn as bumpers. I'll take that trade off, though. Those 5mph bumpers look like crap. I also admit to liking the 72 Torino since it was my first car.

Hitting a phone pole would still destroy the 5mph bumpers. I removed the 5mph part from my pinto's and am tucking in the chrome bumpers to make it look about 1000x better.

My first time there, one of the owners could see that I was lusting over a beautiful 427 Shelby Cobra. He asked me if I wanted to hear it running and of course I said yes. He ran to get the keys, started the car up and pulled it into the parking lot.

After a few seconds of revving the engine and hearing the massive V8 roar, he pulled the fattest burnout/peel out I've ever seen and left a huge set of 11's on the blacktop. It instilled in me the need to build/own one some day. I'll never forget it.
