um yeah me too, but a gifted convert with a stick, cant complain too much.
Yeah we are selling the Beetle Turbo S as soon as it gets warm out and going for some big nasty 4wd something. I found a land rover discovery with a stick up in bridgton that needs rockers. Something like that probably. Maybe a wagoneer if I find a decent one for the right price. And then stick a gladiator grille on it

Great, now all that's needed is some red paint to cover up those animal stripes and a couple of tool boxes bolted down in the bed for extra passengers.

not entirely true. In the 2 I have owned I paid $1800 for an 89 that was in pretty good shape, nice interior. I bought my 73 R code in Trans Am Red for $800

I should have around 5K to play with for it. I am not going to find a Spinnaker Blue grand waggy with 30K miles and a sunroof for that cash, but something that isnt built of welds and rust (lol) and doesnt have a 360 blowing smoke down the highway should be attainable

I want to take it and tear it apart clean it and paint everything black then put it back together and drive it until it falls apart.
