... and suddenly you're the star of a car commercial.
I always forget I like Goldfrapp. I like Goldfrapp. I listen to some "weird" music, and maybe it's her brief stint of mainstream appeal that's clashing with the hipster in me. Goldfrapp's music can come across as cheesy electro-pop on the surface, and it is; it's really well produced though. But if you're cool, you don't think about these things; nothing is cheesy, because... who fucking cares. Put on your driving gloves and take your car for a spin through city; let the streetlights guide you to nowhere.

I'm pretty sure this last one is what it's like to be on Acid.

Thought I remembered Strict Machine being in a car commercial, guess it was the LG Chocolate in 2006. Bonus points for non-Newtonian fluid effects.

Oh man, why don't have more of their music!? I only have the one song that I play randomly. I haven't had functioning car audio until I bought my new car just last month. I work until midnight, hearing that song through my speakers as I drive home is just the coolest feeling.

I remember that commercial; I also remember it being super-effective, because I really wanted one of those phones.
