I edited this one brighter on my screen this time... I guess it turned out rather dark still (at least on my phone...) !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Leave comments below; I always enjoy getting feedback!

That's a nice picture, I can't find anything wrong with it.

I'm not sure what it is, but it looks brighter and better when it's the full size picture. I like it though. Good work!

Thanks! I have to work out the kinks in editing on my screen... Blacks are the main issue.
That, and there's a nice "oops" along the roof line where I burned with too large of a brush, then forgot to correct it :\

Along the roof line isn't as noticeable as it could be thanks to the overcast sky.
It might be a kinja thing, because the blacks do look better when I hit expand, or I'm looking at the picture on your flickr.

I'm noticing the same thing... Maybe kinja compresses the non-expanded version and that causes the detail in the blacks to be dropped out?

That sounds like a very real possibility. I assume you uploaded a jpeg, so maybe kinja is compressing that further for a thumbnail picture.

Yeah, I uploaded a JPEG to Flickr, but I only linked to it here. I've noticed there being a short time where the image is caching directly after posting. I imagine kinja is just ninja-ing out the quality for a small preview size.

Sounds like a reasonable supposition.
