...made a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , asking Alfa back to motorsports. What a bunch of loonies.
Anyways, according to some rumors flying around Geneva, their wish may soon be granted, 4C safety car is a nice start.

I'd love them to as well. They've got a unique record in that they've won a major international championship in every decade of their existence. Every decade except 2010-2019.
I think if I came into a ton of money I'd enter Alfa as a privateer team in the WTCC or somesuch.
I'd prefer them to make some cars to sell first though. Then they can worry about accolades.

I doubt that they will win a title this decade, even if they come back with the Giulietta in 2015 or 2016, Honda and Citroen will have enough experience with the new rules, that they will be able to fend off the Alfa rookies.
Also, a better idea, with a ton of money, you can buy FCA stock, if the ton is big enough, you can buy enough shares, to have a word in the company.

I think you might be right. Plus, I don't think the Giulietta is eligible to race in the WTCC. I remember researching it and it's not long enough to meet the regulations. I'm sure there's ways around that, but it'd be tricky for a privateer.
I think a better bet would be something like Dakar. Especially if Alfa actually gets around to producing a CUV. Maybe WRC would be good as well, although I think the MiTo's a bit long in the tooth to be building publicity for.
Buying stock would be a good idea. That way I could try and persuade them to keep an Alfa version of the new Spider :)
