Adam's historically inaccurate spacesuit that I expect some time-travel shenenigans is going to go on at some point in the future past.
The guy is a detail fanatic. That's a MiG fighter jet ring attached to the helmet. He's building another. Of course it's a hybrid of insane costume designers in California and a effects guy, but whoa. I mean. It's not historically accurate, quite, it's a hybrid of the versions of the suit.. let Adam explain the logic there.
I grok it.
Tested: is an interesting series and would probably do more auto-related things if given the oppo- tunity. I'm sure a good radius turn at 2500fps looks pretty neat.
Here they are being professionally dumb. (note full faceplate safety gear)
NSFW language, things blowing up.
And Builds!
Okay guys, somebody needs to get that landspeeder chassis idea going, This guy would find the transparent wheels to make it work.
Okay, maybe this is a Gizmodo type thing. Build is a build. Adam, btw, restored Toyota Land Cruiser. Original. You can spot it sometimes..

They have a pretty good podcast with Adam as well. It's called Untitled.
They space suit is a labor of love. Sure it is not 100%, but there are points on a project like that where you have to do what you have to do, even if you are Adam Savage.

they have done one commentary on AI that i haven't watched.... its alot of behind the scenes stuff, like the high speed stuff, they had a live cam going and they put the full video up.... i would recommend paying 5 bucks, you can watch all the backlog of premium stuff so far, and see if you like it....
im about to switch from monthly to yearly, if for nothing else to get the store credit... im holding out for stickers and mugs, but 15 bucks in credit is still nice.
