It's really more of a dune buggy than a go kart. 2 seater, independent suspension, hydraulic discs (2 in front, 1 on the rear) big tires, electric start, lights, horn for crying out loud... It's a Dazon Raider Classic, 150 variant. The PO's had done a rebuild, but then the son decided to fix an oil leak on the head, and got the valve timing wrong. Mister Valve met Mister Piston, and that was that. So the thing is apparently complete, but disassembled, with most of the block attachments in a bucket. It needs a batttery, head and piston, one rear shock, (cannibalized for another project) and probably some other hardware and wear items. The brakes work fine, don't seem to leak; chassis looks good, free of weird looking bends, welds or paint cracks. A few wear throughs on the paint that need some clean up and repainting, but it seems that for about another 200-300 max, we will have a pretty awesome go machine. Pics will follow, right now it's a big white lump under a tarp. Eventually, it will look like this
Noooo, not really (wouldn't that be fun!), but it should look a lot like this
Cost of the roller was $200

I like the way you think, but it might not fit. I think people have put 600 sportbike motors in them though.

Both of us thought the exact same thing, except I was two exclamation points more excited

LOL. I was 100% joking. It would be cool but there's probably little chance the chassis could actually handle it.

I've seen frames like that going for 75-100 dollars on the CL. Just add motor. seen with motor for around 150.

Would you mind buying them up and sending me them? I have monies. They are hard to find round these parts. I am looking for an old go kart from about the 50's to 60's and are worth some cash.
