Yeah, more like four things David Wong doesn't like, and bullying, which is not going away any time soon.

oh my fucking god, stop falling for clickbait.
Seriously though, Cracked stopped writing articles about the real world a few years ago. Shame, they used to be quite entertaining.

Fuck this whole article and this guy's obvious insecurities. Seriously, the diatribes on cars and red meat being "manly" are just laughable.
"And even though there are presumably an equal number of male and female drivers in America, car culture — the love of cars, and the worshiping of them — was always about manliness. Race car drivers are male, mechanics are male, and car ads portray females as merely one of the accessories that come with a nice one."
No, it's about horsepower and loving what you drive. Go wank it to your softcore Lambo ad, you sad sack.

Cherry picking statistics and using them to draw weak conclusions. I guess that's why he's a writer and not in a math field.
Protip: In the stat and logic world you can't just make an IF P THEN Q connection all willy-nilly.
Just because somebody doesn't get their driver's license doesn't mean they don't want to drive or want a car. As an example, I know plenty of car guys who live in NYC.
And I guess you will just gloss over the popularity of Barrett-Jackson and the booming collector car market?

I've seen some bullshit articles, but this... THIS has got to be the most opinionated bullshit I've ever read. CAR CULTURE? RED MEAT? FOOTBALL? I think David Wong gets bullied on a daily.

Agreed. Try telling that to all the female race drivers, and 2 of my gearhead friends (who happen to be female as well).

As a red meat grilling and devouring, Jeep and motorcycle driving American woman, I played lineman as a kid. What's 'manly' now, idiot Cracked writer?

His concept of masculinity is so warped, it's just sad. Protip: if you need to rely on outside factors (food, hobbies, being bullied, etc) to call yourself a man, you might need to reevaluate.

That was so fucking stupid that I'm not even bothering to comment it. (Oh wait...)
The car portion was just simply idiotic and since when bullying has been manly?

My description of organized football - a bunch of sweaty, grunting men, in color coordinated, matching tights attempt to jump on another team of sweaty, grunting men, in different sets of color coordinated, matching tights all for a piece of leather while millions of other men watch.
If that was the given description of football, most people would assume it wouldn't be safe for work to watch.....or possibly life.....

Absolutely. In psychology jargon we call that 'an external locus of control'. Not a very stable basis for self-identity.
