In honor of him getting one of those C3PO things.

He must of bought it before he made it big. Definitely the worst looking version of the 2nd gen. But still not the worst thing ever.

It's not pretty but it still looks cool and his looks to be in good condition.

I've always wanted a base model 2nd gen Trans Am(pre plastic bumpers though). No wing or anything and build a wicked sleeper.

I'm kinda surprised he doesn't own one.

I recite this to the best of my memory anytime someone pops the hood of any car.

Any 2nd gen F body > Mustang II
But I'll take a fox body over a 3rd gen any day

I'm pretty hardcore GM so dunno if I could do the 5.0 but a friend had 2. One he sold just before he finished the turbo build. They're amazing cars.

Wow. the 74-77s are easily the worst to me.

I think you might be the only person on earth to think that.
It was the last of a era. With the big steel bumpers and all.

I dunno man, 2nd gen values usually go 70-73, 78-81, then followed by 74-77. A lot of it has to do with styling.

You're the first person I've ever heard of that prefers the last redesign over the '74-77.

Really? That's wild. The 70,000 additional Camaros sold in '78 over '77 alone point to improved aesthetics.
78-79 were the best selling Camaro years of all time.

Maybe at the time they were but now they look way too "malaise era".
The '74-77 still have the older muscle car look. The plastic bumpers ruined that.
