Found an E30 M3 on Craigslist, rusty but running. Guy wanted $5k. I find out Bill emailed him before I did by a span of about 15 minutes. I has a sad. Now I'm going to binge on episodes of Chasing Classic Cars.

The struggle is real.

NICE! I am super envious you got a 944S for 800 bucks. I got a shitty beat-to-hell 924 for 500 and I can't find the time to fix it. It has rusted out hard brake lines and I need to make new ones.

Not much to be mad at though - the ad was just posted today so the only way to have seen it earlier than you (or I) did would have to be a) sheer coincidence or b) you have a Craiglist search setup to alert you of new matches.

Oddly enough, I do have a CL search set up on my phone, but it looks for e36 parts. I usually check for cars nightly, and I skipped last night because I was so exhausted.
