Oh Honda SouthAmerica, you really get me from time to time:
Here we see the Honda CB1 125 against the CB1 125 TUF, one looks totally "thirdwordlian" and the other one is making me think seriously about buying it.
You may wonder about the difference of money that makes the same bike change so drastically, well, it's of about a thousand argentine pesos, or a bit more that a hundred dollars, the bike here retails around US$ 1925.
What do you think about it jalops?

That should be brought to America, it would probably sell good, just being cheap

Take commuter bike, put on off road fender and hand guards. Ta-da dirt bike

Other than the bark busters they look exactly the same to me.

Looks to me like a Honda Elsinore, which was a precursor to the modern dirt bike. Sans hand guards, but most dirt bikes don't have those.

the only difference I see is the headlight guard, hand guards, and off-road style front fender. I'd say price those items from JC whitney and see if it's worth the extra $100.

you missed the tail rack. which would be nice to have but not a deal breaker.

poor man's BMW F-series, which I am okay with. if they were available in the USA for a $2k MSRP, I would definitely buy one. but, if comparative bikes can be used for a realistic analysis, then the Honda Grom is the closest real competitor. and that bike is going for $3,200 + ~$800 in delivery fees, assembly fees, and taxes which puts it at double the price of the Honda in developing nations...
