After having watching the second episode of Top Gear, I feel like black is an essential color to the P1.

The orange does not look as good as I expect an orange McLaren to look like for some reason.

I think the orange is ok, but because the front and back splitters are also painted, it looks awkward.

I would rather see carbon fiber painted.

I just want to see one in Volcano Red, it's my favorite color for the 12C.

That black P1 on Top Gear nearly permanently unhinged my jaw. It's a truly unbelievable looking car that I can't even put into words. Well, maybe one...
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

It's amazing how much a paintjob can affect the lines of a car, change the shape almost. This just looks...weird.

I saw a pearl white one of these in person today. Black wheels, orange brakes. The car is perfect the way it is. Seriously.

Best-looking non-black P1 I've seen!

Odd, i'm not really liking it...

needs orange paint

I think it's because the car has so much black, it's not contrasting well. Even the silver wheels aren't helping.

Fact is from a technical point of view that us painted carbon fiber does not do well due to UV damage. You can add certain things to the resin to help, but it still isn't the best thing for the life of the product.
