If you're in the US, they're legal in April...you'll be able to buy one then...

Not more atrocious then what the US automakers were calling a luxury coupe in 1989...

I live in Norway (the Country, not the tiny town in Wisconsin) I could probably register one as a classic car or something.

Ah, If your law goes by date like ours, they were first sold in April 1989.
Also...there's a town in Wisconsin called Norway? If I were you I'd have to take a vacation there, just so I could tell all my friends and family I was going to Norway on vacation, and laugh at their dumbfounded looks...

Our laws is a bit different. I can't even TRY to explain it right now :P
And yes, there is a town called Norway in Wisconsin ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norway,_W… ) And thats not the only place in the US called Norway. There is also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norway,_M… ... and more :P

Trust me. The terror of that thing has little to do with its country of origin.

We're not very original...have you seen the movies we make?

To be fair, the US have made GREAT movies, sure many of them are old. But come on, don't discredit The US when it comes to movies, without Hollywood we'd be in a state of limbo.. :)
As far as not being original, that's a bit unfair, you're a country inhabited by imigrants or people born by imigrants. It stands to reason that Norwegians moving to the US would name a place after "home" :)

I wonder if that was in the Us, if it would have sold?

At the time I doubt it would have. Economically it would have been too expensive for what the market could bear for a luxury Japanese import at the time...We hadn't been completely won over buy Lexus and Infiniti yet.
