There was a rendering some time ago in a local newspaper which had cars only from sci-fi movies.

The lack of positive replies in this thread saddens me. Architects can be car guys too, dot'cha know? My SAAB has a saad now. I always try and work my (or just interesting) cars into the plans if I can.

To be honest, though, our faculty's parking lot is a field of shame. There's a nice, dark blue Alfa 159 Wagon (not sure who) and a Volvo V60 (drawing prof). The 30-something guy who teaches one of the legislative subjects and we think is prolly gay drives a Z4.

There used to be another Z4 with the nice brown interior and canvas, as well as sweet wheels, belonging to the ~80 year old prof for construction. Hella player that guy, used to drive a 911 as well, but wrapped it around a tree, or so the story goes. Then he used to promote the old Jeep Cherokee, saying he's gotten to old to poot around in sportscars. And then he drops the Z4 on us, a year or two before he retired.

The dean is cruising in his silver Chrysler 300C wagon (he's nearly 7 feet tall), which is kinda meh. Rest of the field are dull econoboxes or MPVs, there's even a Prius in there, owned by a prof I don't like at all, so there's that. One of the cleaning ladies is rocking a late 90s C Merc on some deep dish wheels.

To be honest, the most interesting thing on the lot arrives when most leave, the afternoon-evening security guy drives a mint Bertone Opel Astra G coupe. I've always like this generation of Astra, not quite sure why.

I think his might have a small, but good looking spoiler and two chrome exhaust tips that are prolly stock. Always looks immaculate.
