RAIN! OMG! On my way from my office to one of my company's other offices (a 20 minute drive) I saw two cars flipped over, three cars spun out, a tree fall on two cars, and one car almost lose it on the on-ramp right in front of me. This storm isn't even that serious. Slow down a bit and stop driving like an asshole.

It's making my GTO a bit tail-happy, too.

We just need it for a few weeks. It's better than nothing though.

I really need to find a safe place to go hoon in the rain. Time to start browsing Google Maps for a nice abandoned lot.

One word: California
You people come visit my roadways and make them a horrific mess all the damn time too. Even when its dry. In fact, on one of my trips between here and Torrance, I saw a car drive from the right lane, across the left, across the rumble strip, and into the median and flip over, 90* sunny day, no loss of control, completely unexplainable until I saw the car had CA plates.

I'm about an hour north of LA and I saw a wrecked Honda on my 7 mile commute to work this morning. Lots of people trying to do their accustomed WOT takeoffs from lights and whatnot found themselves doing the one-wheel peel. As someone else said earlier, people either have their lights off or their high-beams on.
I have to say, though, I have felt so much better the last few days than I have in a very long time. Something in the air here drives my allergies nuts, and whether it's the rain cleaning the air, the higher humidity, or something else, I'm loving it.
It almost makes me think I should consider a move to someplace where I could feel this good more often :).

I hope you're not coming from Arizona, because I have a thing or two to say about those people. When you make SoCal drivers look bad, you should do everybody a favor and stick to public transportation.
If you're from Nevada (since I'm assuming you're close enough that CA drivers litter your freeways), then I apologize for LA (that's where the majority of the bad drivers are). But it's partially your fault for building Las Vegas.

Last ones the winner winner chicken dinner...
People in LA are more than welcome to come spend money and drive around on the strip. I avoid the strip at all cost. I would just appreciate it if those LA area people avoided driving ANYWHERE ELSE.

I'm really glad I didn't have to work today. I probably would have had to leave an hour early to make it 9 miles down the 405. California drivers suck at rain (I'm from Houston where it rains all the time, it's really not that hard people!)
