Been thinking once the garage is free I want to pick up a Fox for fun. But then I started thinking, one of my favorite looking Mustangs (odly enough) was my buddies old 98 Cobra in bright atlantic blue.

Came across this one on AT for mid $13's with 35k mi 1 owner....

Just busting balls as I'm a Mustang guy myself. While I like the Sn95's, if you're really looking for a project pony, you can never go wrong with a foxbody.

I guess it depends on where you want to end up.

Then I'd recommend a fox. Cheaper, tons of parts and you won't have to worry about upsetting the careful balance of love and contempt that is Mustang ownership.

Ha Ha!

That's the very best part of Mustang ownership - the more money you spend making it better the less you're going to be able to sell it for.

It hurts when you watch a relatively low mileage GT in stock, garage kept outsell a similar vintage GT with all sorts of goodies because "who knows?". It's a love hate relationship.

The thing ran like a champ and sounded AMAZING. Every C&C I took it too I would have to leave 20 min before I wanted to leave as I would get stopped and questioned about "whats under the hood".

Once the Coyote motor came out mine stopped being able to keep up and outperform with ease and I lost interest in it.

Yeah since there is no way it's ever coming back with Pontiac dead, the 4th camaro prices dropped as soon as the 2010 hit the streets. Iroc era cars though are on the rise as well as late 2nd gens.

Not a fan of the Iroc. I would take a LS powered Camaro, but for not much more I could get my hands on the same powerplant in a C5 base...
